PCV accessibility system manufacturer Masats has grown its site in Sant Salvador de Guardiola, Spain. The expansion of its facilities by 5,000m2, bringing its total size up to 25,000m2, is to increase its production capacity.
The new building that has been added is to be used for the manufacture of aluminium doors for urban vehicles. Masats has taken over a building located next to its current facilities. This new area will also allow us to rationalize the workflow between other production sections, as well as add a third production line for aluminium doors. In the coming months, the company will carry out works to adapt the building, with new investments to allow for greater efficiency in production and the implementation of more advanced technologies to maintain the highest quality standards.
Masats CEO, Ignacio Elburgo, said: “We are pleased to have new facilities strategically located, which will allow us to improve our logistics and production operations, and to undertake the growth planned for the coming years.”
Masats has different areas of activity: automatic door systems for buses, coaches and trains; ramps and lifts for access of people with reduced mobility to public transport vehicles and platform doors to improve security in railway and metro stations.
